How to prepare (serves 2)

• Put 1 dessert spoon of Safranbolu Salep in a small pot.

• Add 2 cups of cold milk. Add sugar to taste (the product contains no sugar).

• Cook over low heat, stirring constantly; take it off the heat once it thickens and starts to boil.

• Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve hot.

• Hot salep: with cinnamon in winter

• Cold salep: chilled and served with ice

• Desserts and puddings: milk puddings and milk-based desserts

• Ice cream: homemade Maraş-style salep ice cream

• Plant milks: can also be made with almond, oat or lactose-free milk
